The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) Review

Film: The Wolf of Wall Street

 Directed by: Martin Scorsese

 Runtime: 3 hours

IMDb Rating: 8.2     Rotten Tomatoes: 77%

Notable Actors:  Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie

About the Film:

The Wolf of Wall Street is on the most basic terms, the onomatopoeia of Martin Scorsese. The movie is all about what Scorsese does best- depict the personality of a certain person, who was significant in his/her life in the most askew way possible. This particular one covers Jordan Belfort, of the most notorious stockbroker, who lands up on a load of cash in his own crooked ways, and develops an affinity for it.

Why Should you watch it:

I mean, 569 times, the “F***” word has been used, with an average of 3.16 per minute. Opening scene, DiCaprio merrily enjoying a blowjob, again, snorting cocaine from a hooker’s ass. Drugs, whose names aren’t even heard of? Most surprisingly, from the same man who created “Taxi Driver”, “Catch Me if you can”, “The Aviator”? Can’t believe? Go and effing watch it!
