Mr. Nobody

Film: Mr. Nobody (2009)

Directed by: Jaco Van Dormael

Runtime: 141 minutes

IMDb Rating: 7.9 Rotten Tomatoes: 64%

Notable Actors: Jared Leto, Diane Kruger

About the Film:
A rhetorical movie made on a non-linear timeline. Non-linear timeline: The format of movies that made Quentin Tarantino famous, with his “Pulp Fiction”. Mr. Nobody, is a kind of a movie which takes the viewer on a journey through time, space and parallel universe, following our protagonist, to get what he really wishes for. But the very twisted fabric of nature stops him from doing so. Or, does it really stop?

Why Should you watch it:
Everyone has heard of the Big Bang, right? How would the Universe End? Perhaps by Big Crunch? And heard of the Butterfly Effect? Follow Nemo Nobody who knows everything that is going to happen. Which path should he choose? Watch the mystery unfold with it’s beautiful cinematography. Being of Belgian origin, the movie appropriately explains it’s abstraction and metaphysical nature.
